N.A.C.H. President and CEO Larry McAndrews documents colleagues in attendance at the White House to hear President Obama appeal in favor of health care reform. To the right of the President in reserved seats on the front row were the hospital association leaders, Chip Kahn, FAH; Chris Burch, NAPH; Sister Carol, CHA; and myself, NACH, to the right were representatives of the physician community in their white coats, a request of the White House, including Judy Palfrey, MD representing the AAP. Also attending invited through NACH were Steve Altschuler, MD from CHOP, Pat Magoon, Children's Memorial and Max Coppes, MD, CNMC.
