Thirteen-year-old Brian likes to talk on the phone, go to the movies and ride his bike. He has a twin brother and an older sister, Monique. Like his sister, Brian was diagnosed with sickle-cell disease at birth. While he says dealing with his sickness causes him to miss out on a lot of activities, he is very thankful for the care he has received from Miami Children’s Hospital.

They will tell Congress about the importance of children's health care coverage and health issues.This site will feature a different participating child each week until the event.
