The Tuesday plenary session Championing Health Care Reform that Works for Children will feature a health care reform discussion panel.
Positive provisions for children are included in the initial health care reform bill, yet we are months away from final legislation. Financing of health reform is hotly debated with Medicaid DSH cuts on the table. Fundamental to the N.A.C.H. principles of children’s health coverage is affordable, quality health care coverage, but will children be left behind? Our expert panel will provide an overview of the N.A.C.H. principles for children's health care coverage, the state perspective, provisions for children with chronic care conditions, and pediatric physician reimbursements. Those in the trenches will discuss how children and children’s hospitals are faring in the reform and how we can work together to advocate for our future.
How is the national economic crisis impacting children's health care in your area? Tell us how you think the faltering economy will impact your hospital or children's health care in your area or nationwide.
According to President Obama and the vast majority of Congressional Democrats, health care in the USA has broken down and needs a major overhaul.
Shouldn't Kennedy be getting "blame" rather than "credit"?
I'm confused.

About President Obama's speech today? I think all of you should spill out what is your own plan. We can say anything we want but the truth is we cannot do anything better than that. President Obama's plan is better than anything.
